Tess is an engaging public speaker, dynamic, and a genuine person. After retirement from teaching at Algonquin College, she’s redirected her passion and enthusiasm to providing families with traditional, spiritual, same-sex baptism and naming ceremonies. Located in Nepean (West Ottawa), she has given back to her community by volunteering for many philanthropic organizations such as Immigrant Women Services Ottawa. Her number one priority is to provide a memorable joyous celebration which meets the needs and desires of the parents and family in welcoming the newest member of your family.
Andrea McDougall
Andrea has lived in Greely, near Metcalfe, for over 25 years. While working full-time and raising a family, she completed a degree in Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa. Now she enjoys conducting life celebrations such as baptisms and naming ceremonies in her role as an appointed designated minister. Andrea has always done volunteer work in some capacity and always will. She is a long-time supporter of the United Way and for the past ten years she has focused her activities around children and sports. Go Metcalfe Jets!! Rev. Ed Montano
Ed lives in the Ottawa area with his wife (and best friend) and their dog (admittedly, a very spoiled dog!). He's perfectly bilingual in English and Spanish, and he could also perform your baptism or naming ceremony in basic French. Ed is an ordained priest with the United Free Catholic Church and holds his Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity degrees. His time is shared as Church Administrator, a hospital chaplain, and other community priestly duties. Fr. Ed understands that this ceremony is important and should be a most memorable one to you and your family. Ed loves reading, doing research, and writing. He is also blessed with a musical family, playing musical instruments and singing. Both he and his wife love golf, even though you will probably never see him on the PGA Tour!

Thank you so much for the lovely Baptism ceremony for Liam ...we were so pleased and one of our guests actually called us that night to tell us that it was the most beautiful baptism he had EVER attended...I'm so pleased...it was perfect, the program, the music, the setting, the pace, the length of the ceremony...everything!!!
