Heather Black resides in Georgetown with her husband and two beautiful daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, gardening, swimming and planning events for her family and friends. Her goal is to ensure yours and your family's vision for your baptism or naming ceremony reflects your own beliefs, values and dreams. Heather's outgoing nature and experience interacting with others, will make you feel comfortable sharing such a special day with her from the moment you meet her. She is credentialed as an appointed minister.
Tess Porter
Tess is an engaging public speaker, dynamic, and a genuine person. After retirement from teaching at Algonquin College in Ottawa, she relocated to the Mississauga area. She has redirected her passion and enthusiasm to providing families with traditional, spiritual, same-sex baptism and naming ceremonies. Her number one priority is to provide a memorable joyous celebration which meets the needs and desires of the parents and family in welcoming the newest member of your family. Please note that Tess is not available for any further bookings in 2025 but is accepting bookings in 2026 and beyond.
Tony Murdock
Tony and his wife are long-time residents of Mississauga. His public speaking skills and years of meditative teachings are at your disposal for special occasions. Tony offers the ritual of baptism and naming ceremonies, bringing a sense of peace and spiritual depth to these significant moments in life. His spiritual journey in wellness began in Southern California, where he started to meditate, practice, and later teach Yoga. This path led him to study Comparative Religions at York University and California State University. He completed his Master’s Degree in Hindu Religious History at McMaster University. Tony looks forward to sharing these sacred traditions and connecting with the community."
