Colleen Kenny
Colleen is an experienced baptism celebrant who lives in Smiths Falls. She is patient and kind and loves a great laugh. She considers it a privilege and an honour when a couple entrusts her to baptise a child. Talk with her you will not be sorry.
Jessie Douglas
I have been a long time resident of the Carleton Place area where I raised my family of 3 sons. It would be an honour and privilege to conduct a naming ceremony or baptism, to celebrate the precious gift of a new child in your family. I am an experienced motivational speaker and I have been told that people remember my Scottish brogue! It adds something a wee bit different to the occasion. The ceremony will be heart-felt and personal expressing your love and commitment to your child.
Peter Yerdon
Born and raised in Brockville, Peter has spent much of his life in the service of others. He and his wife raised their three daughters in this community and are proud grandparents of one granddaughter (so far!). Performing a naming ceremony or baptism brings him joy. You won’t find a more conscientious, emotionally invested person than Peter. His biggest fault is not being able to say ‘no’. As a former member of the Kinsmen Club he received his Life Time Achievement Award. He has a great interest in the theatre both musical, dramatically as well as improvisational and as such, has a flair for adventure. Peter is an Appointed Designated Minister and he looks forward to helping you and your family make your ceremony memorable.
Baptism Stories
The welcoming ceremony had a personal quality, with the beautiful poem and readings, that made it special for us as parents. The extra TLC you added to the ceremony made it extra special. You were warm and friendly, organized and thoughtful and we would have you back anytime! Thanks again for a wonderful memory!
