Rosemary Godden

Rosemary Godden

A baptism or naming ceremony is a meaningful sacred moment for a family and Rosemary will assist in helping make that moment both unique and memorable. As an Ordained Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church, Rosemary is available to serve the Montreal area. She grew up in England and after living in Harrison Hot Springs, BC for two decades, she moved to Rockbrun in Hinchinbrooke, Quebec. She is fluent in English and German, and able to provide a little French for a bilingual ceremony. With a master’s degree in English Literature and recently retired from teaching, if Rosemary doesn’t have her nose in a book she can be found tending to her garden. She will help you weave together a personal, customized ritual to reflect your beliefs, and desires to celebrate this important rite of passage. Comfortable with barefoot beach ceremonies, intimate garden gatherings or any setting of your choice, she would be honoured to assist you in writing and explore symbolic ceremonies that can be incorporated into your ceremony to create lifelong memories.

Baptism Stories

It was such a wonderful service. We have received so many compliments from our friends and family about the baptism, many saying it was the best Baptism ceremony they have ever been to. Thank you very much for everything. We will definitely do the same type of service for our future children. Jennifer Dobson
