Rosemary Godden
A baptism or naming ceremony is a meaningful sacred moment for a family and Rosemary will assist in helping make that moment both unique and memorable. As an Ordained Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church, Rosemary is available to serve the Montreal area. She grew up in England and after living in Harrison Hot Springs, BC for two decades, she moved to Rockbrun in Hinchinbrooke, Quebec. She is fluent in English and German, and able to provide a little French for a bilingual ceremony. With a master’s degree in English Literature and recently retired from teaching, if Rosemary doesn’t have her nose in a book she can be found tending to her garden. She will help you weave together a personal, customized ritual to reflect your beliefs, and desires to celebrate this important rite of passage. Comfortable with barefoot beach ceremonies, intimate garden gatherings or any setting of your choice, she would be honoured to assist you in writing and explore symbolic ceremonies that can be incorporated into your ceremony to create lifelong memories.

Baptism Stories
The welcoming ceremony had a personal quality, with the beautiful poem and readings, that made it special for us as parents. The extra TLC you added to the ceremony made it extra special. You were warm and friendly, organized and thoughtful and we would have you back anytime! Thanks again for a wonderful memory!
